Art Exploration at Hope Academy 2015

On Monday June 8th we kicked off our 5th annual Art Exploration Program at Hope Academy! This is a four-week program for 65 middle school students and 10 high school students with classes in visual art, photography, theater, music and video. The program runs June 8 – July 2 with a special Community Showcase Celebration 7pm July 1st at Hope Academy. The Showcase is open to the public and students will present and perform the art they have created during the program.

Joyce Marrie – Theater

Ben Kelly – Music

Matt Abeler – Video

For the first 2 weeks Artist Mentors are working together in the IA studios (Joyce Marrie and her Theater interns Evana and Josselin are at Crossroads Panorama for Youth). Weeks 3-4 will be with the middle schoolers at Hope Academy and the student interns will become the class assistants.
