We are excited to announce that on December 19th, six students participated in a graduation ceremony after fully completing their fashion training at the Mathare Creative Foundation led by IA Artist Mentor and scholarship graduate Yvonne Asunnah (video above and photos below). Twenty-five family members attended the celebration (with masks and social distancing) as Yvonne and special guests spoke and presented them with their certificates. We are so proud of the students and the great work Yvonne is doing! Thank you to everyone who supports the work of Inverted Arts and is helping creativity change communities in Kenya!

Since 2018 we have been thrilled to partner with “Yvonne Asunnah Kenya” and the “Mathare Creative Foundation” mentoring young people from Mathare Valley Slum in fashion design.
