Filmmaking at Exploration High School

Through winter and spring semesters the students at Exploration High School in Northeast Minneapolis have been exploring the wonderful world of filmmaking this winter and spring! Artist Mentor Ryan Daniel is leading sessions focused on an introduction to digital media, covering the history of media, its uses, and its forms and brought attention to how it impacts audiences. He helped students understand the rules of cinematography such as Exposure Triangle, Rules of Thirds and 3 Point lighting. The last half of the course was used as a practicum to bring the ideas and use cases into view. We are thankful for a wonderful partnership with Ryan and Exploration High School that is inspiring students!
