Pasadena Art Camp

Thank you for helping 80 students from NW Pasadena discover they are “created 2 create!” Our second annual Art Camp took place the last week of July and each day elementary students explored their talents in dance, visual art, drums and theater, while middle schoolers experimented with music production, wrote some amazing songs, and painted a beautiful mural on the parking lot wall. At the end of the week the students presented their masterpieces to over 200 family members and friends at a Community Showcase event. We are grateful for our stellar team of Artist Mentors and their great work with the kids!

Dea Jenkins – Dance

Terence Anderson – Visual Art

Will Shine and Brandon Pasio – Drums/Percussion

Sunita Puleo – Theater

Eric Tai – Mural

Joel “JC” Clarke – Song writing/music production

This Art Camp is held in partnership with Montrose Church Pasadena-Bresee Campus, and Stars (formerly Lake Avenue Foundation). Special thanks to our amazing co-directors Candice McVey, Will Shine, and Scott Chamberlain, and to a super team of volunteers from Stars and Montrose Church!
