Art Camp in Santo Domingo, DR 2014
What a great week of Art Camp in Santo Domingo, DR! It was an exciting new partnership between Inverted Arts, Kristin and Joselo Santana – Wolford, and local churches Mundo de Fe and Jovenes Educando en las Verdad. This year’s focus was film-making and our Artist Mentor team of Travis and Sarah Scharn and James and Mark Collier along with 3 youth leaders from Hato Mayor (Neftali, Jose Armando and Esteban) had the pleasure of working with over 35 talented youth ages 13-23. The group split into 2 teams and created films from concept to completion in only four days. On Friday night they screened their masterpieces to an enthusiastic crowd of friends and family; complete with popcorn and soda. Check out their great work and some other pics below!
