Exploration Spoken Word
Artist Mentor Pierre Fulford just wrapped up Spoken Word sessions at Exploration High School in N.E. Minneapolis with a student showcase event. Pierre writes, “Incredible performances! Every word shared possessed a gravity unique to each artist. The artists were students who attend Exploration High School. Our final session together was dedicated to bringing all elements from our time spent into one final presentation, and they shook the room! Their presentations were peaceful, preachy, thoughtful, angry, insightful, comedic, and accurate tot he spirit of their world; a world that unfolded through their words. And I am grateful to have been a tourist.”
