Pasadena Art Camp 2019

Just wrapped up our third annual Art Camp in Pasadena, CA and it was an incredible week! Over 65 students in 1st – 9th grades discovered they are “created 2 create” and spent the week exploring their creative gifts and talents. The 1st-5th graders had daily sessions in percussion, dance, visual art and recreation. Middle school students explored music and video production and photography. The week ended with a big showcase event where students presented their work to friends and family. Special thanks to our Artist Mentors:

  • Percussion – Alan Bruni and Diana Wallace
  • Dance – Dea Jenkins
  • Visual Art – Terence Anderson and Amber Walton
  • Recreation – Dionna Williams
  • Music and Video Production – Adi Rao
  • Photography – Eric Tai

Thanks to directors Candice McVey and Will Shine, partners Montrose Church Bresse Campus, Because you Matter, and Pasadena Stars, and to the many volunteers who gave their whole week to serve these students!
