On August 23rd, our four “Songs Unleashed Vol. 1” students gave a concert for residents at Abiitan Mill City – an Ecumen Senior Living Community in the Mill City neighborhood of Minneapolis. Students each performed their 2 original songs and then answered questions from the audience. This is a fantastic new partnership between Inverted Arts and Abiitan/Ecumen and fosters engagement between our students and the senior community living in the city. Students were also paid for their performances and a week later received their first royalty check from their itunes sales and other online streaming of their songs.
