During our recent trip to Nairobi, Kenya we had the opportunity to record the Kariobangi Children’s Home Choir. These kids are all orphans, many due to HIV/AIDS, and despite the extreme challenges they all face they share their musical talent and bring hope to everyone around them as they sing. Inverted Art will be producing and distributing a CD of the Kariobangi Choir songs that will be available this fall of 2011. All proceeds will go back to the Kariobangi Children’s Home to help provide food for the 80+ orphans who live there. Here are some pictures of the choir and recording process.
