Kenya Visit

It was so wonderful to be back in Kenya visiting our partners and scholarship students! The week was filled with reunions, sharing memories and stories, laughter and happy tears, strategy sessions, and building partnerships both old and new.

The week kicked off with a luncheon at Mathare Community Outreach for scholarships students past present and future. During the week I had lunch meetings with staff from Mathare Community Outreach, Kariobangi Children’s Home, Mathare Children’s Education and Friends Fellowship Assembly. I was blessed to visit the homes and workplaces of each of our business partners: Stephanie, Kevin, Seth and Matilda and Yvonne. I also had the pleasure of spending time with our friends and partners the Modupes, and want to say a special thanks for all their time and effort coordinating my trip and helping manage these ongoing partnerships! I continue to be blown away by the hospitality and generosity I have experienced, and I am so grateful for these growing and deepening relationships!

At the end of the week we enjoyed a business partner retreat together at Brackenhurst Conference Center that included times of updates, reports, training, encouragement prayer and worship.

I am so thankful for fifteen years walking along side of our remarkable, talented and inspiring Kenyan brothers and sisters!
